In this section of the exhibition the nine artists articulate different aspects of themselves through their art and poetry. None of them had experienced the Process Art method used in the workshop before coming to it. However, they all ably expressed aspects of themselves while joining in the workshop community as they shared their experiences with each other. You will find a section for each artist that contains a symbolised expression of themselves or self-portrait and a poem, for some artists there will be more than one self-portrait. These are followed by four sections representing practices they did during the day-long workshop. These are: “My Energy,” “My Journey,” “The Layers of My Life” and “My Experience of the Criminal Legal System.”
